Seeing the situation, a number of churches carried out social solidarity actions in the form of free food giving, and the installation of hand sanitizers in the open so that they could be used by anyone. As was done by GKI Wahid Hasyim, GKI Maulana Yusuf, and several other churches.

In the act of providing free food, some involved food stalls around the church. Where the church pays the cost of one meal, according to the stall owner, around Rp. 15,000 / portion. Everyone who has taken allotments will record them as a report for the church. For those who have eaten 2-3 times, are expected to not take more, so that more people are helped. Interestingly, they understand, and are not selfish.

This action received a positive response from those who came, and was assessed as a form of a sense of solidarity. They also inform this activity to others. Although sometimes there are those who do not receive their share due to run out, but they can understand. The shop owner also claimed to feel helped, and was happy to be able to share in this difficult time.

MPH-PGI's call for humanitarian solidarity has been conveyed through an appeal for the Church to care for others during the Covid pandemic. / material, to help families in need, and experience the adverse economic impact of this situation.

Diakonia is not limited to Church members, but can also be distributed to other fellow (interfaith), so that behind this hostile situation can build human solidarity, and peace in the community.

MPH-PGI asserted, one of the Diakonia is the "3M Movement" (Member They Eat). This movement departs from the words of Jesus to the disciples in the midst of various rejection and crisis that occurred at that time. This is at the same time evidence of the Church's testimony amidst the challenges and struggles of the nation, as well as the Church's real contribution in supporting government programs for social safety nets.
