Pope Francis Invites Christians to Pray Our Father to Face Corona

Pope Francis called on all Christians in the world to confront the corona virus pandemic with "unity of prayer, compassion and tenderness".

"In these difficult times, while humanity trembles because of the threat of a pandemic, I want to propose to all Christians that together we raise our voices to heaven," Pope Francis said as reported by the Vatican News, Wednesday (3/25/2020 ).

Pope Francis specifically invited the Christian community and leaders of Christian churches to jointly say "The Lord's Prayer" on Wednesday (3/25) afternoon Rome.

The Pope also announced that on March 27, he would lead a prayer and Holy Sacrament in front of St. Peter's Basilica at 18:00 Rome time.

The Lord's Prayer is a prayer taught by Jesus Christ to His disciples.

So far, more than 417 thousand people in the world have been infected with a deadly virus, coronavirus. According to John Hopkins University reports, the number of fatalities due to this virus worldwide has reached more than 18 thousand people.
